2019 Auction Raised $13,034!
The 2019 Greater Nashville UU Auction raised $13,034! That is the most we have ever raised during an auction. A BIG THANK YOU to all the donors and bidders who helped make this happen. HATS OFF to all of you who brought food, helped set up, provided childcare, entered in bid sheets, and helped clean up. Also, a SHOUT OUT to the Auction Team for their hard work, countless meetings, and dedication to making this happen: Lindyne Bailey, Sandy Blanz, Ryan Davison, Denise Graves, Sarajane Powell, Kristin Reveal, Theresa Tarkington-Kersey, and Kris Thresher.
For those of you who provided an event or service, we will be emailing out the winners of your event / service by this Sunday. The Auction software should have sent out everyone an email receipt. This has gone to some people’s spam folders. If you did not receive a receipt, let us know and we will send you a PDF copy

Bella’s RE class has another fundraiser coming up on February 10 when they offer you delicious treats at their bake sale.
Lunch Fundraiser an Overwhelming Success!
The children prepared and served the food, while congregants gave heartily to the Bella family fund. Together, we raised $450 for Bella! Way to go GNUUC!

2018 In Review - Still Spring Memorial Garden
In addition to the four workdays held by the Land Stewardship Committee in 2018 in the Still Spring Memorial Garden, gardeners were out weekly throughout the spring and summer, weeding and pruning.
Room In The Inn: To Volunteer Contact Jesse Spencer-Smith
One of the ways Greater Nashville UU provides sanctuary to our community is through the Room at the Inn Winter Shelter Program. Room In The Inn’s Winter Shelter program runs from November through March each year, in coordination with almost 200 congregations throughout Middle Tennessee. The program provides safe shelter, warm meals, and fellowship for our neighbors struggling with homelessness during the coldest months of the year. Sunday, December 16: Visit SIFE Gift Table to Help Nashville Immigrant and Refugee Students
This Sunday, December 13, visit the SIFE Gift table to help support Nashville’s immigrant and refugee students. One immediate and pressing material need for these students is access to basic hygiene products, which are are quickly exhausted through use by an entire family or household. At the SIFE Gift table you can purchase a share in bulk ingredients so that the students in the SIFE Math Classroom can produce their own deodorants, toothpastes, and other personal hygiene products while learning about fractions, decimals, ratios, and pre-algebra concepts in a meaningful hands-on way. The Children’s Religious Education program is holding a Toy & Book Drive to replenish and update some of its resources in December. Choose a book or toy to purchase from the garland in the Fellowship Hall. If you are able, purchase two copies and we will donate the 2nd item to Napier Enhanced Option Elementary School. After the Chili Dinner and Hanging of the Greens on December 1, the Youth are hosting a Coffeehouse open mic night! This is very informal and lots of fun. You can definitely be added as an act the night of, however, we really, really appreciate knowing we have enough acts ahead of time, so sign up! All are welcome - this is very fun and informal.
