Who is UU Compass Small Group for?
Newcomers who want more than information — a real taste of UU community.
Long-time members seeking to reconnect with UU values and practices.
Teens and adults alike, eager to walk together across generations.
Whether you’re brand new or have been here for decades, UU Compass will help you find your bearings, discover companions, and chart the next step of your journey.

Adults - you will enjoy this movie too! Please come! Wicked reframes a familiar fantasy based on The Wizard of OZ, through complex moral, political, and social questions. It challenges the ideas of good and evil, showing how systems of power define morality to maintain control. The main character, Elphaba refuses to conform when she sees injustice, choosing truth over reputation. Wicked also explores how propaganda, fear, and bureaucracy sustain power. The Wizard’s regime depends on controlling narratives and silencing dissent. In short, Wicked asks profoundly adult questions: What does it cost to stay true to your values? How do we tell truth from illusion when authority shapes the story?

Together, we’ll practice deep listening, share our personal journeys, and explore Unitarian Universalism as a living path of meaning and connection.
Together we’ll:
-Explore Our Journeys – reflect on our own spiritual paths and what brought us here.
-Discover Our Tradition – learn the unfolding story of Unitarian Universalism through the lens of healing disconnection.
-Build Connections – practice the deep listening and sharing that make small groups so life-giving in UU congregations.
-Find Our Next Step – discern how each of us can walk more deeply with this community, whether as a newcomer or a longtime member.
Who is UU Compass for?
-Newcomers who want more than information — a real taste of UU community.
-Long-time members seeking to reconnect with UU values and practices.
-Teens and adults alike, eager to walk together across generations.
Whether you’re brand new or have been here for decades, UU Compass will help you find your bearings, discover companions, and chart the next step of your journey.
Facilitators: Kristin R. with Nathaniel B.

Welcome to the 2025–2026 year of Children’s Religious Education at Greater Nashville UU! This fall we’re creating an emergent faith formation space—a community where kids learn, play, and grow together while exploring our UU values. Sunday activities vary between religious instruction, free play, and multi-generational worship.
This Sunday is a staffed Wiggle Room/Playground Sunday. Children attend service with their parents until after the Time for All Sages. Then, they are dismissed to Children’s Programming.
