October 29, 2017 – Guest Speaker, Rev. Denise Gyuach - "Dismantling the Master's House": What, Why, & How (with a few notes about When, Where, and Who) - It takes courage, skill, and (oh, so much) persistence to face humanity's problems and move in the direction of more justice and more love. As part of the second round of UU White Supremacy Teach-Ins, let's step back for a big-picture look at our problems and our power. The Rev. Denise Gyauch has been a member of the First UU Church of Nashville since 2001. Denise earned the Master of Divinity degree from Vanderbilt University in 2011 and was ordained to the UU Ministry jointly by the UU Church of Huntsville and First UU Church of Nashville in 2015. Her primary passion these days is looking for ways to support the growth of Unitarian Universalism in middle Tennessee and the Southern Region.
