The Nashville Peace and Justice Center is a community based coalition of organizations and individuals working to promote equity and to create a peaceful, just, and sustainable society through reflection, education, and non-violent action.

The children prepared and served the food, while congregants gave heartily to the Bella family fund. Together, we raised $450 for Bella!  Way to go GNUUC!

The Explorers Class will be hosting a bake sale on Sunday, Feb. 10!

Reavis L. Mitchell, Professor of History, Dean of School of Humanities & Behavioral Social Sciences, Fisk University will be speaking to the L-Club in February.

Our Share-the-Plate partner for the month of January is the GROW Enrichment.

Ginger Rose Krueck, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Grow Enrichment, will be at church on Jan 6 to make a presentation for Grow Enrichment, our January Share The Plate organization. 

Please join us in cleaning and organizing the pantry on Saturday the 29th from 10-12 noon.

In addition to the four workdays held by the Land Stewardship Committee in 2018 in the Still Spring Memorial Garden, gardeners were out weekly throughout the spring and summer, weeding and pruning.

One of the ways Greater Nashville UU provides sanctuary to our community is through the Room at the Inn Winter Shelter Program. Room In The Inn’s Winter Shelter program runs from November through March each year, in coordination with almost 200 congregations throughout Middle Tennessee. The program provides safe shelter, warm meals, and fellowship for our neighbors struggling with homelessness during the coldest months of the year.
