Happy Pride Month Everyone!

This year we are honoring the 50th Anniversary of Stonewall!

Hang out with your friends at Greater Nashville UU Congregation at the Nashville Pride Festival and Parade on Saturday, June 22nd

Updated Meeting Location!

We have been invited to march with the Nashville Peace and Justice Center! Meet on Broadway, near 10th Avenue, in front of the Union Station Hotel. Look for Charles Sumner or Kristin Reveal. Once in the festival, we can disperse into smaller groups. See updated “Participant Map” below.

Plan to arrive been 9:15 and 9:30 AM. The parade begins at 10 am sharp and goes pretty fast.

If you pre-purchase wristbands before the walk, it will be faster to enter the festival when we finish. Tickets for the Festival are $5. Kids 10 and under are free.

This is a very family friendly event! From face painting and carnival games to art projects and prizes, the Kids & Family Zone will provide fun for the entire family. Plus there is a youth area with activities, games and tables from organizations promoting safe spaces and youth engagement, the Nashville Pride Youth Area is hosted by The Oasis Center.

This year's walk organizer is Kristin.  If you think you can make the march, please let Kristin know so she can keep an eye out for you. We will create a text group to keep in touch and find each other during the event.

Parking
Please make sure to allow plenty of time as a number of streets around the festival site will be closed, and they are expecting over 3000 participants for the walk.

A good place to park may be the Nashville Public Library. It usually costs $10.
