MEMORIAL SERVICE AT GNUUC FOR DAN ROSEMERGY SATURDAY, AUGUST 24TH AT 2 PM 

All are invited to the memorial service at GNUUC for Rev. Dr. Dan Rosemergy, who died July 10th. Dan was minister of Brookmeade Congregational Church when GNUUC was founded in 1994 and he gave GNUUC not only a place to meet but encouragement in forming a new congregation—he was there at our birth. He remained close to us and when he retired from Brookmeade, he became our minister for nine years, giving us full-time service for half-time pay. When he retired again, he was elected minister emeritus.

The memorial service will be conducted by the Rev. Jennifer Crane, a member at Brookmeade and a close family friend of Dan and Jan. Our minister, the Rev. Cynthia Cain, who knew Dan from the national board of the Interfaith Alliance, will assist with the service.
