Reproductive Rights Conference

Tennessee State University, Avon Williams Campus

You are invited to a free reproductive rights conference hosted by Healthy and Free Tennessee in Nashville at TSU Downtown Campus October 27-29. Friday evening welcome; Saturday all day; Sunday morning. Attend all or part. Individual and organizational partners from across the state will be in attendance, as well as some national partners. We are expecting 200 attendees.  www.healthyandfreetn.org.

Healthy and Free Tennessee is a coalition of agencies, organizations, and individuals working together to promote sexual health and reproductive freedom in the state of Tennessee.

Keynote speaker will be Loretta J. Ross, co-founder, SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective.

Presenters will include local Tennessee experts like Larry Frampton with the Tennessee AIDS Advocacy Network, Mary-Linden Salter from Tennessee Association of Alcohol, Drug & Other Addiction Services, Elizabeth Gedmark of A Better Balance, Terri Lee-Johnson of the Memphis Birth Collective, Erica Perry of Black Lives Matter Memphis, and Dawn Harrington of Free Hearts, as well as national experts from National Advocates for Pregnant Women, Center for Reproductive Rights, and SisterSong.

Registration: Please register if you plan to attend any day of the convening, even if you don't plan to attend all 3 days. 

This convening is FREE to participants, but we are asking for a donation of $25, $50, or $100 as you are able in order to help us cover convening costs like the space rental and meals for participants. If you are able to donate, please click here.
