We are an engaged religious community,
Greater Nashville UU is a vibrant, multi-generational liberal religious home.
We believe in walking alongside each other in our separate spiritual, religious and ethical journeys and coming together to create beloved community, striving to make a more just and peaceful world.

"Worship is kindred fire within our hearts;
it moves through deeds of kindness
and through acts of love."
#441 Singing the Living Tradition (our hymnal)
Sunday Mornings at Greater Nashville UU are a foundation for the rest of our programs and mission. Regularly attending worship services is our most powerful communal practice in helping to build beloved community both within and beyond the walls of our campus.
Wherever you may be on the theological continuum, this communal practice supports our spiritual, religious and ethical growth, and our ability to evolve gracefully as we are met with new ideas and attitudes that stretch us.
Sunday mornings are intended to challenge our thinking, to comfort our hearts, to inspire us to action, and to provide a safe place for us to share our stories of transformation. For more information see Sunday Services.
Sunday Services are followed by a community lunch hour. Stop by Visiting Us to learn more.
At Greater Nashville UU, we believe in the power of lifelong learning, and that revelation is continuous.
One of our core theological beliefs as Unitarian Universalists is a commitment to personal spiritual growth. Our religious beliefs are always evolving based off our experiences and introduction to new ideas, and we at the Greater Nashville UU are committed to helping you identify, explore, and deepen your spiritual, religious and ethical beliefs, no matter your age or stage of life.
