Sun., June 28, 2026: Sunday Service
Hybrid: Sanctuary / Zoom
Topic: Celebrating Proud Families

This Sunday, June 28, join us for a special service in celebration of Pride. On the anniversary of the Stonewall uprising, we gather to honor LGBTQIA+ lives and the many shapes love and family take — the families we’re born into and the ones we build by choice.

In place of a sermon, members of our own congregation will form a panel, sharing how this faith helps them move through the world and how their families, born and chosen, hold them up. Together we’ll light our chalice with words for our siblings of the rainbow, read the story of the Progress Pride flag, and sing Fred Small’s “Everything Possible” — a parent’s promise to a child that they can love whomever they love and become whoever they are. Our Share the Plate offering will support Just Us, the Oasis Center’s program for LGBTQ+ youth in Nashville.

It promises to be a joyful and tender morning, and a reminder that here, our faith stays wide — wide enough to welcome every one of us, exactly as we are. Whether you join us in the sanctuary or on Zoom, you belong here. Service begins at 11:00 a.m.
