Core Values: What Does That Mean?
Recently, my grandson had a kerfuffle with his college roommate. He explained it by saying they don’t share the same “core values.” I wondered if he was using fashionable jargon that I am too old to understand, sort of like my having to ask for a definition of “radical hospitality” when it came up in a presentation of our mission statement. In this brief homily, I will talk about what our “core values” might be and why it matters.
