Sunday, Feb. 17, 2019: Rev. Carmen Emerson, Elevator Speeches

  • Greater Nashville UU Congregation 374 Hicks Road Nashville, TN, 37221 United States (map)

The time has come to hear your UU elevator speeches. Last March Rev. Carmen talked with us about our elevator speeches: in the span of an elevator ride, how might we tell another person about Unitarian Universalism -- and more importantly, what it means to be a practicing Unitarian Universalist?

A reminder of the prompts we considered together:

  • My deepest, non-negotiable values...

  • That for which I am most grateful...

  • My pressing concerns...

  • My unanswered questions...

  • My deepest yearnings...

  • My stead inspirations...

  • My connections to awe, wonder and curiosity...

  • I am a Unitarian Universalist because...

  • Being a Unitarian Universalist has made a difference in my life in this way...

Remember that the only disqualifier is, "UUs can believe whatever they want to..."
