Hybrid: Sanctuary / Zoom
Topic: What is Climate Justice? Living Our UU Values
Led by: Jesse Spencer-Smith and Kristin Reveal
Our UU faith calls us to honor the inherent worth of every person and the interdependent web of all existence — and there may be no place where those commitments come alive more urgently than in the work of climate justice. This service explores what it looks like to live our values by confronting the reality that environmental harm falls hardest on those already marginalized by systems of inequity. When we show up in solidarity, center the voices of frontline communities, and refuse to accept that anyone is expendable, we aren't just doing environmental work — we're living into the fullest meaning of our UU faith.
This hybrid service will be in the Sanctuary at Greater Nashville UU Congregation, as well as on Zoom. See How to Join a Virtual Service at GNUUC.
