Dr. Arunesh Nadgir is an acclaimed pianist and educator currently serving as Professor of Piano and Coordinator of Keyboard Studies at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). He was recently honored as the 2025 Teacher of the Year by the Tennessee Music Teachers Association (TMTA), where he also served as President from 2023 to 2025. As a soloist and chamber musician, he has performed internationally across the United States, Europe, Asia, and South America. Notable venues include Carnegie Hall (Weill Recital Hall), Jordan Hall, and Eastman Theatre. His performances include a wide range of classical works, from Bach and Haydn to Schumann, Debussy, and Barber. His playing has been featured on live broadcasts via Nashville Public Radio (WPLN) and New York City’s WNYC.
