GIVE. WALK/RUN. VOLUNTEER.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6, 9 AM - PUBLIC SQUARE PARK

GNUUC has a long tradition of participating in the annual AIDS Walk, raising AIDS Walk funds for Nashville Cares, and having a GNUUC community-outreach booth at the AIDS Walk Fair and Expo. We need your help!

GIVE TO SHARE THE PLATE.

To be awarded a booth for GNUUC at the fair we need to reach $500 in Nashville Cares Share the Plate funds raised. Please give generously so we can go ahead and secure a booth at the fair. You can put cash or checks with the "Share the Plate" memo into the plate on Sunday, or donate to "Share the Plate" via Breeze.

Our goal is raise over $1,000 this year for this great service agency - that helps those with medical and multiple other needs, who often face rejection by their families and communities.

WALK/RUN ON OCT 6.

We have our team, Greater Nashville UU, listed at the Nashville Cares 2018 AIDS Walk website. If you would like to walk or run at this event, go to 27th Annual Nashville AIDS Walk and 5K Run and click Register, then join Team Greater Nsahville UU. You don’t need to donate any money when you register - we will turn our donation in as a lump sum.

VOLUNTEER ON OCT 6.

We also need volunteers to be at our booth to hand out materials and answer questions about GNUUC, the morning of October 6. In between visitors to the booth, there’s time to socialize with the other volunteers, getting to know them better. Please contact Doug Luckes or Nancy Colowick to volunteer to be at the booth.
