Walk with GNUUC this Saturday, October 1
The weather is going to be great! Join Greater Nashville UU on THIS Saturday October 1 for the 25th Annual Nashville AIDS Walk and 5K Run, plus Community and Business Fair, Music & Food Trucks at 1 Public Square Park.
You DO NOT need to sign up online to walk - just show up! We will meet at the Greater Nashville UU booth by 10:30 AM. A map and our booth number will be sent out later in the week. If you know you can walk, let Kristin know so we keep an eye out for you.
We are close to our goal!
Help Greater Nashville UU make it's goal to raise at least $1,000! So far we have raised $965. We only have $35 to go! If you would like to give a donation online, see our Greater Nashville UU Team Page. (Please note that it has not yet been updated with recent donations handed in during Sunday Service.)
We need You - Volunteer at the GNUUC Booth
We need one more volunteer to sit at the Greater Nashville UU Booth from 10:30 - 12:30. If you are able to volunteer, please let Doug Luckes know.
About the Nashville Cares AIDS Walk
The Nashville AIDS Walk and 5k Run raises money and awareness for the fight against HIV/AIDS in Middle Tennessee and beyond.

Schedule
- 10 AM: Registration and the Fair begins.
- 11 AM: The Walk and Run will be held.
- 12 PM: Ty Herndon and Anita Cochran Acoustic Concert.
- 1 PM: The Fair ends.
They expect more than 1,600 people to attend! Festivities include a Community & Business Fair, awards ceremony, music, and children's activities. Dogs are welcome. For more information about the event see Nashville Aids Walk & 5K Run.
