On September 20th PBS will air the new Ken Burns documentary film, Defying the Nazis: The Sharps’ War. The  film describes Unitarians Martha and Waitstill Sharp who left their two children and their position at the Wellesley Hills Unitarian Church to travel to Prague, Czechoslovakia to help administer an aid program in cooperation with the Unitarian Church of Prague to save Jews and other refugees from the invading Nazis.
