Thus., Dec. 11, 7PM: Americans United will be hosting Andrew Seidel, “Tennessee: The Tip of the Sword of Christian Nationalism. What Can We Do?”
Americans United for Separation of Church and State Nashville will be hosting Andrew Seidel, attorney and author, to speak about "Tennessee: The Tip of the Sword of Christian Nationalism. What Can We Do?" on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Glendale Baptist Church, 1021 Glendale Lane. The event with be emceed by Monte Mader, Deconstructed former Alt-Right Christian Nationalist. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Light refreshments will be served.

Middle Tennessee Humanists are hosting national executive director of the American Humanists Association, Fish Stark on December 13, 2025, at 7:00 PM at First UU. The event is being cohosted by Americans United for Separation of Church and State Nashville.
Sun., Jan. 4th, 2026, 4PM: Ryan Burge “The State of American Religious Life”
Rev. Dr. Ryan Burge is a professor of practice at the John C. Danforth Center at Washington University in St Louis. His research focuses on the impact of religion on American life. He is a well-known data analyst with work appearing in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, POLITICO, and he has appeared on 60 Minutes.

The annual Robert C. Palmer Lecture on Human Rights was established by the church’s Board of Directors in 1983 to honor the legacy and service of the Rev. Robert Palmer, our first called minister. Rev. Palmer was a social activist on many fronts, including the United Nations, nuclear disarmament, and the Civil Rights Movement.

Nashville is home to many labyrinths. Come join us as we explore two of them on Saturday, November 4. We will begin with a classical-style labyrinth located at Glendale United Methodist Church, meeting there at 10 am. Then we will travel to a Medieval style labyrinth located at Scarritt Bennett.
Those who purchased this event at the 2023 Auction and have not attended can attend for free. Suggested ticket donation for others is $12 to GNUUC. Please RSVP to Rev. Michelle P.
