GNUUC’s June Pride Month Share the Plate Organization is Just Us at the Oasis Center

Just Us is a group of programs at Oasis Center dedicated to helping lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth to achieve their full potential. Just Us provides LGBTQ+ students a liberating space where they can be authentic and celebrate the fluidity of identity. Please give generously to provide LGBTQ+ youth, who often face public intolerance and rejection, an Oasis of welcome.

The climate around acceptance of LGBTQ+ youth in public schools right now is threatened by laws like the FL "Don't Say Gay" law, as well as the banning of books that reference the LGBTQ+ community. It is important to provide a safe space for LGBTQ+ youth in our community.

Greater Nashville UU is a Welcoming Congregation. Supporting the Oasis Center's Just Us program during Pride Month is a great way for us to support LGBTQ+ youth in our local community.
