Garden Reflection by Tina C.

My recent visit to Still Spring Garden felt as if it were my first. As I approached the entrance, my eye was drawn up and over the grand evergreens. I stepped in and soon felt tranquil. Drawn to the modest figure resting on a bench beside me, I leaned in closer as if to gain a message. I turned to travel the careful trail realizing colors were surrounding me, each one in competition with the other. A melody of fuchsia, violet, yellow, and an intertwining array of green led me through the sanctuary. Walking over the mulched walkway, I wondered how many had traveled this fleeting path. What were their reflections? If only I could stay a moment longer. My pensive meditation was hindered by a persistent biting wind. I soon headed back to the entrance, outlining my next visit to this unique space.
